CTT Serial Cable Test Termination
Description:
The CTT series water-insulated cable test terminations are used to test extruded insulation high-voltage cables.
Cable test terminal is always part of a complete system which consists of HV power source, test object, measuring device, related HV connecting and earthing, water cooling system.
The terminal and water conditioning suitable for the test:
n Partial discharge test
n AC withstand test
n Impulse voltage test
n Tan delta test
General Specification of the Water Terminal
n The terminal suit for Power cable’s delivery test, type test and qualification test.
n The terminal is designed for indoor use.
n The terminal consists of 2 sets terminal tubes and one deionizer water condition unit.
n The terminal suitable for 500kV and below XLPE power cable testing
n Remote control is available.
n Rated voltage of the terminal reaches 800kV.
n Before operating, please make sure every unit are safety earthing.
n Terminal is removable, convenient for testing.
n Deionizer resin can be replaced on-site.
n Water storing case has four tubes for water-in and water-out
n There are emergency button, user can press it when emergency situation to keep safety.
n Electric sensor can supervise the temperature, pressure, flow velocity and water electrical conductivity.
n Sensor supply 4-20mA signal to feed programmable processor, the operation mode will display on the control panel.
