Meet the standard requirement of: type test or routine test for power cable
nIEC 60840, nIEC 62067 nIEC 62985.
These systems raise and control the temperature of a conductor to simulate the current loading conditions in an electrical circuit. We offer Heat Cycle Test Systems with voltage regulator, mobile high current heating transformers, capacitive compensation, temperature set controls and PLC control system.

Voltage regulator output: Depends on the system
Quantity of the heating transformer: Depends on the length of the cables
nHeating Transformer
nVoltage regulator
nCurrent transformer (CT)
nTemperature measuring device
nPLC control system
When ordering the system, please kind confirm below information:
n length of the test cable
n The conductor material copper or aluminum
n Cross-section area of the conductor
n Type of insulation and cross-section of insulation
Normally, there will be two loops, one loop for testing and applying high voltage, depends on the voltage of the power cable, there may need equips HV test bushing with voltage AC or DC. The high voltage testing may include: ac dielectric test, impulse voltage test, or dc dielectric test. And the simulation loop is a short cable, user will drill multiple hole on the insulation and put in the temperature sensor.
The voltage regulator normally is inductive voltage regulator and sometime, if need to raise the voltage in a vary short time, we will need to use a programmed IGBT high power regulator to raise the voltage to target voltage and current in multiple second.
And there will be Current transformer (CT) for current measuring.
