Lightning Effect Test System

The High-Current Direct Lightning Effect Test System is mainly used to conduct high-current physical damage tests for direct lightning experiments. Adopting a modular design, the system consists of four individual component generators, a four-in-one coupling and decoupling unit, and a set of measurement and control system, all housed in six shielded shelters.

It can be hoisted and transported directly to the test site by vehicle for on-site testing, or fixedly installed in a laboratory for experiments. The system supports four lightning waveform components A, B, C and D, enabling single-component output as well as continuous multi-component combined output. This technology has reached an internationally advanced level and taken a leading position in China.

• 4 generators can be combined arbitrarily to realize continuous waveform output.

• Charging voltage can be set freely to generate 6 types of waveforms: A, Ah, B, C, C*, and D.

• Optional civil standard waveform modules such as 8/20 μs and 10/350 μs are available.

• Comprehensive protection functions, including charging abnormality protection and port connection detection.

• Electromagnetic self-locking safety door switch protection and automatic safety grounding to ensure personal safety.

• Oscillatory wave and exponential wave output can be selected as required.

• Test sequence programming function.

• Automatic polarity switching for positive and negative output polarity.

• Integrated control and measurement system with touch screen and computer.
