Chinese First Independent Nuclear-grade DCS Platform -"Hemu System" was approved

Recently, the "Hemu System", first nuclear-grade DCS universal platform, has been reviewed and approved by specialists in Beijing.

This platform breaks the monopoly on overseas nuclear-grade DIS and fills in the domestic gap, generating remarkable economic and social benefits and good prospects for application.  

As the most important "nerve center" of nuclear power station, main functions of "Hemu System" are as follows: protect and control the nuclear reactor; monitor all parameters during the operation of nuclear power station; automatically determine the operation condition.

Once the abnormal status occurs, this system stops the reactor in the shortest time and avoids affecting the external environment. It plays a major role in ensuring safe, reliable and steady operation of nuclear power station. The development and application of "Hemu System" is of great strategic significance to further guarantee the quality of nuclear power project and reduce the cost of the construction of nuclear power and maintenance. 

In the past, domestic nuclear-grade DIS equipment has been relying on the import. China had no right to speak in terms of technology and price, and was also restricted in the aspect of nuclear power project schedule. However, the creation of "Hemu System" makes China own IIPR of nuclear-grade DCS platform, brings new breakthroughs for the development of domestic nuclear equipment and ensures "go global" of Chinese nuclear power.
