First Domestic Independent Ocean Energy Power System Trial Project Passed Acceptance Inspection

The 200KW tidal current energy power generation project recently passed acceptance inspection. The project is the first domestic independent ocean energy power system trial project, also a subproject of the national special fund project of marine renewable energy 500KW ocean energy independent power system trial project. This project is located near the water of Zhai-tang Island in Tsingtao, started in November, 2012, installed in June 2013, the whole set is currently in good operation after one year test run.

Construction of this project provides significant reference for large scale exploitation of ocean power resource.
