Block capacitor is used in combined test system of AC Dielectric test system with HVDC test system, or HVDC test system with impulse voltage test system to protect the system from damage by overshoot.

Depends on the voltage of the block capacitor, there will be different structure:
nHorizontal type, like the above photo
nVertical type, which will be support by holder

Rated parameter:
n    Rated voltage up to 3600kV (Voltage depends on the requirement)
n Rated capacitance up to 600nF.

Indoor or outdoor are available. (For outdoor use block capacitor, we normally design with porcelain insulator or composited insulator with )
